Free vaccines that need to be consumed
No strategy, whether it's the vaccination strategy or any other, is bulletproof. Those able to deal with the obstacles to ensure the implementation of the plan become successful. Vaccines, like any medicine, have an expiration date, but this is often calculated in hours. If you lack citizens to get vaccinated, you need to come up with a solution that will ensure near-100% vaccines usage and relieve vaccination centers and hospitals from administrative work.
Solution
Efficiency saves the day
In cooperation with the Banská Bystrica Region, we found exactly such a solution. We created the Nahradnici.sk portal, which allowed citizens who were interested in vaccinations to register as substitutes for the vaccine. They were allowed to choose their preferred vaccination center, type of vaccine, and other options. Thanks to an efficiently created database, vaccination centers were able to call substitutes within a few minutes or hours in the event of a shortage of people and thus make full use of all prepared vaccines.

Achieving collective immunity by joint effort
The nahradnici.sk portal has brought benefits to many. Thanks to it, it was possible to react quickly, make use of all the prepared vaccines and last, but not least, vaccinate more than 15,000 citizens.
