It's smart to offer SMART
One of the big players in the Slovak market in the field of prefabricated houses turned to us with an interesting request. They wanted to provide clients with houses that really belong to the 21st century. This means that they wanted to become a vertical integrator and provider of SMART solutions for their homes.
Solution
Sometimes a superstructure is the right way
The Bauholding application already existed, so the best way was to simply create a superstructure. An application in which clients could already monitor the construction progress of their house, they can now manage SMART devices such as: thermostat controller, electric sockets, light switches, light bulbs intensity, electricity meters, blinds control, cameras or hygrometers. All these devices are seamlessly integrated during the construction of the house and can be managed and controlled remotely. The ideal is the client's ability to choose which SMART devices they want to incorporate into their home. In addition, the hygrometer is connected to the building company, which monitors the humidity and condition of the house and can issue recommendations, that should prevent mold and other humidity related issues.

Remote access increases comfort
Thanks to the cooperation with Bauholding, their clients were provided with the opportunity to control and measure in their homes: electricity consumption, remotely set blinds (as heat prevention), set the thermostat in advance, turn lights on and off (eg on holiday). And since everything works conveniently from their mobile phone, we increase the comfort of their living.
